Losing the Future

As a method of informing the disinformation specialists of the purveyors of the “Ministry of Truth” let me recognize the words behind the acronym MAGA. This does not stand for Donald J. Trump, though, as an American, he identified it as an important campaign slogan; the very idea of which was Making America Great Again and can only come from the idea that America is not as great as it once was, not as a society and not as a nation. This lesser status arrives from the previous administrations and their cooperation from and with the congress. It’s a product of Obama’s apology tour, of the intent to “lead from behind” and to do everything possible to reduce the stature of the United States on the world stage, to make us vulnerable to attack, not just during Democrat administrations, but some RINO administrations as well. This is why when someone who spoke about the issues faced by countless millions of Americans on the ground, in the dirt, the voters overlooked the 12 other useless politicians on stage and elected Donald Trump.

The Work Required to Have an Opinion

The ability to destroy your ideas rapidly instead of slowly when the occasion is right is one of the most valuable things. You have to work hard on it. Ask yourself what are the arguments on the other side. It’s bad to have an opinion you’re proud of if you can’t state the arguments for the other side better than your opponents. This is a great mental discipline. — Charlie Munger
